Spitalul Clinic de Urgenţǎ Bucuresti – Floreasca – SPFLO (P3) is a first category hospital-clinic according to the ranking of Romanian Ministeriun of Health providing high specialised medical services in a variety of domains such as internal medicine, cardiology, surgery, neurology, ortopedy, intensive care, etc. SPFLO consists of 6 clinics (e.g. cardiology) that ensure the academic&research activities in connection to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Carol Davila”. These clinics are complemented by medical departments and laboratories that augment the services spectrum offered by the hospital. The clinic research groups have been involved during the last years in a significant number of research projects with national public, european or private funding.
Role in HEART:
SPFLO will be involved strongly in the activities that will imply medical data acquisition, model assessment & validation and will support the partners with the medical specific expertise.
Committed research infrastructure and resources:
The clinic will provide the HW necessary to perform the relevant cardio-vascular data acquisition from patients: Siemens CT Somatom Volume Zoom Siemens, Siemens Axiom Artis angiograph, Philips Integris Allura Flat Detector 9C Angiographic X-ray system. The corresponding rooms/laboratories to properly perform the measurements and validation will be available.
